An anonymous diner paid a restaurant bill of 600,000 Korean won, about $420, for 27 people from the Jemulpo-gu Hanmaum Community Welfare Center in Incheon, South Korea. The group included disabled residents and their caregivers. The diner left before the group learned of the payment, after adding more than $100 of premium beef to the bill. The restaurant owner also gave the group a discount. The story was reported by Yonhap News Agency, and Good News Network republished it with more detail on the restaurant and the welfare centre.
